Medicare’s enrollment period, known as the Annual Election Period (AEP), starts on October 15 and lasts through December 7. (We go into more detail about this in a previous blog post.) As you are preparing for Medicare by reviewing your Medicare plan options, the ApexHealth team wants you to know that ApexAssistants are here to help. Let’s dive into the many ways they can assist with enrollment.
ApexAssistants can guide you through the Medicare enrollment process. This includes assisting you with completing an application over the phone, enrolling through ApexHealth’s online portal or sending you a paper enrollment form in the mail.
ApexAssistants work with you to better manage your unique health care, based on your unique needs. This means reviewing your coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and customer considerations including prescription drug coverage, in-network doctors and supplemental benefits including dental, vision and hearing. Is your current plan meeting those needs, or is there a better option for you? An ApexAssistant can help you answer that question.
We’ve written a lot about comparing different Medicare plan options. As you look at Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Medigap Plans, there are a lot of factors to consider – primary coverage, monthly premiums and additional costs, out-of-pocket limits, prescription drug coverage and supplemental benefits. At ApexHealth, we want to make Medicare simpler for you. ApexAssistants can help educate you on Medicare options and explain how ApexHealth plans compare. All you need to do is call!
Finding a Medicare plan that is right for you doesn’t have to be complicated! If you’re interested in learning more about ApexHealth’s Medicare Advantage plans, we have an online comparison shopping tool. All you have to do is enter your zip code, county, and your preferences – prescriptions, pharmacies, etc., to get your ApexHealth plan options. Providing your preferences is optional, but by providing your preferences, we can better estimate out-of-pocket spending to help you find a plan that may save you money. If you need help comparing ApexHealth Medicare Advantage plan options, an ApexAssistant is here to help.
The support of an ApexAssistant doesn’t stop at enrollment. Once you’re an ApexHealth member, your ApexAssistant is your personal Medicare expert, who knows you, your plan, your preferences, and your needs. There are many ways your Apex Assistant can help including:
