Understanding $0 Medicare plans

What do ApexHealth Medicare Advantage plans have to offer?

ApexHealth designed our Medicare Advantage plans with you in mind, with benefits you need for the life you lead. Highlights for 2023 include:

• Monthly premiums as low as $0
• $0 medical and prescription drug deductible
• $0 copay for primary care visits
• $30 or $35 copay for specialty care visits (depending on the plan)
• $0 prescription drugs for preferred generic (Tier 1) and select maintenance medications for diabetes, hypertension and cholesterol (Tier 6)
• $0 Viagra (generic) including 6 tablets per month, up to 72 per year.

ApexExtras also give you more for your Medicare dollar, including:

• Dental coverage
  • $0 copay for preventive dental services like cleanings, exams, x-rays and fluoride treatment
  • $1,500 or more in comprehensive dental services like fillings and extractions (depending on the plan you choose)
• Hearing coverage
  • $0 copay for a routine hearing exam
  • Up to $1,350 in hearing aid coverage with no co-insurance or deductible
• $150 or more for glasses and/or contacts plus $0 copay for routine eye exams (depending on the plan you choose)
• Free single-center gym membership or Home Fitness Kit
• Acupuncture, chiropractic and therapeutic massage coverage — As low as $30 per visit, up to 20 visits/ year (combined)
• Up to $60 every three months for over-the-counter health and wellness products (and any unused amount rolls over to the next three months but must be used by the end of the year or by the end of your coverage with an ApexHealth plan)
• Apex PayFlex pre-paid debit card with $240-$360 (depending on plan) for eligible expenses. Eligible expenses include transportation services to/from any health location and out-of-pocket expenses that exceed what we cover for your vision and dental benefits. This is a combined benefit up to an annual limit to be used on any or all of the eligible expenses listed above.
